5. When you get into Austin make sure that you look at https://atx.live/ and https://techeventsnetwork.com/cities/austin/ for startup calendars and sign up for reminders about Austin Startup meetups www.bitly.com/txstartupevents, then attend the following events:

6. If you’re just visiting Austin I’d recommend coming during the second week of March to participate in SXSW or in mid-September for Austin Startup Week,
otherwise the second week of a given month because of the Intro to the Startup Scene, Startup Grind and OpenCoffee are all typically scheduled for that week.
